Tony Moore Awake Live at the Bedford London

Its been a while since I last caught up with Tony an incredibly talented musician and song writer.

Tony Moore is a lifelong musician with an eclectic career that includes playing with Iron Maiden in the early days, being keyboard player in Cutting Crew (I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight) in the 80’s as well as releasing and performing his own music to hundreds of thousands of people around the world.

I first met Tony when I was involved with Famestage London a musical platform that promoted up and coming musical talent led by the late and great Paul Miles.

We were in London just before Christmas and Tony was performing his 14th show of his Awake tour at the Bedford London. I have been looking forward to watching Tony perform songs from his Awake double album live for some time and to watch him perform it at The Bedford even better. If people didn’t know The Bedford is an iconic music venue . U2 performed there amongst other major stars Ed Sheeran..

“I loved playing The Bedford in Balham – It holds fond memories for me and I look forward to coming back one day.”
Ed Sheeran

So the stage is set for what will be an amazing evening of music..

My favourite song..

AWAKE (Alive…) Live Performance by Tony Moore

Tony’s performance was no surprise to anyone that it was beyond incredible, David Stark formally a producer at Decca records presented Tony with the Title of song of the year 2021 with crazy in the shed..

It was lovely to catch up with David Stark and Colin Farley also from Cutting Crew after the show.

I cant wait to catch up with Tony again in London very soon at The Bedford..

Thank you for reading and watching..
